Job summary

The University of Minnesota Division of Hematology, Oncology & Transplantation seeks a board-certified or board-eligible Malignant Hematologist at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level (non-tenure) to join the HOT division and Masonic Cancer Center.

The successful candidate will deliver outstanding patient care, lead or participate in clinical, translational, and laboratory research, and contribute to education across medical students, residents, and fellows.

Qualifications

  • Board-eligible/certified in hematology and/or medical oncology.
  • Graduate of an ACGME-internal medicine residency with hematology fellowship.
  • Licensed or able to obtain Minnesota medical license and DEA.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding clinical care to patients with hematologic malignancies in inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Participate in and/or lead clinical, translational, or basic science research programs.
  • Develop and oversee investigator-initiated and cooperative group clinical trials.
  • Contribute to teaching and mentorship across undergraduate medical education, graduate medical education, and fellowship training.
  • Collaborate with division, department, and cancer center leadership to advance programmatic growth in malignant hematology.
  • Collaborative Research Environment with access to cellular therapies, transplantation, and early-phase trials.
