Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in homes and communities. You will work one-to-one following each client's ISP to promote independence.

Responsibilities include providing home and community-based support, assisting with daily living activities, documenting services, and building meaningful relationships with clients.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification upon hire.

Position Overview

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with ASG Home Care, you will provide hands‑on support that promotes independence, community engagement, and daily living success. As a Direct Support Professional, you will work one‑on‑one with individuals in both home and community settings while following each person's Individualized Service Plan (ISP).
