Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey seeks Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with developmental disabilities at home and in community settings across the state. You will work one-to-one following each person’s ISP to promote independence and daily living success.

The role offers flexible scheduling and local cases with a supportive team. Pay ranges from $18 to $24 per hour based on experience and case assignment, with a strong emphasis on compassionate care and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Position Overview

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with ASG Home Care, you will provide hands‑on support that promotes independence, community engagement, and daily living success. As a Direct Support Professional, you will work one‑on‑one with individuals in both home and community settings while following each person's Individualized Service Plan (ISP).

Key Responsibilities as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)

• Provide individualized home and community‑based support to individuals with developmental disabilities

• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation

• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP

• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team

What We're Looking For in a Direct Support Professional

• Must be 18 years or older
