ICA is currently seeking an online Malay Language Instructor. The candidates should have at least two years of experience teaching the target language in a proficiency-oriented environment to adult students on an intensive basis.

Job Details
- Period of performance: 5/19/25 - 6/22/25
- Schedule: Mondays and Thursdays: 5:00–6:00 PM EST, and Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00–1:00 PM EST.
- Training hours: 20 instructional hours (no prep)
- Total hours: students can request additional 20-hour blocks of hours, but must be able to commit to completing all hours by program end date of 6/22/25
- Training type: acquisition
- Training goal: no formal goals
- Testing format: no testing planned
- Number of students: 1
- Rate: $22.00-$23.00
- The training program will include homework activities and should focus on developing language skills such as: speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and culture.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of full-time experience teaching adult students
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Native speaker of the Malay language
- Teaching experience with Zoom online platform preferred.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or foreign nationals with authorization to work in the United States.
