Job Summary:

This position will be based out of the Elizabethtown, KY Support Center Makery, and will report to the Director of Retail Products. The desired candidate must be able to communicate effectively in a professional manner and possess good organizational skills including attention to detail and accuracy. A successful candidate will be able to perform each essential duty at an above satisfactory level and handle multiple projects in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Produce handmade, plant-based bath and body care products from a variety of recipes and ingredients.
2. Efficient and precise operation and strict adherence to material handling procedures.
3. Ensure product knowledge and production skills in order to achieve quality products and shipment goals.
4. Collaborate with Manager to schedule accordingly for production goals.
5. General cleaning and commissary maintenance.
6. Ensure and protect brand standards during and throughout the production process.
7. Quality control all products during the production process and before shipping.
8. Collaborate with team members to address and resolve any production needs.
9. Meet production requirements on or before deadlines.
10. Communicate to management in a professional, concise manner.
11. Use good judgment in a self-driven environment.
12. Prioritize, multi-task, and work well under pressure.
13. Expect to work five days per week, approximately a 40-to-45-hour work schedule depending on hourly or salary status.

Work Conditions and Physical Demands:

1. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
2. Must not be sensitive to various scents and fragrances.
3. Dexterity of hands and fingers.
4. Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
5. Must be able to walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, twist and stoop, kneel or crouch.
