Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at Florida Polytechnic University.
• Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.25 and have completed 9 credits in the most recent fall or spring semester with GPA 2.0 or better.
• Must be in good academic standing.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Position requires a criminal background check and compliance with privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Staff the Makerspace during operating hours and assist with afterhours programming as necessary.
• Keep the Makerspace clean, organized, and operational for student use.
• Create, develop, and implement Makerspace programs, workshops, and events.
• Lead or assist with Makerspace workshops, events, or fundraisers.
• Manage Makerspace materials/equipment check-in/check-out process.
• Assist Makerspace users with questions about supplies and/or equipment.
• Enforce safety procedures and monitor equipment use.
• Inventory and organize Makerspace supplies, including unboxing and stocking of new supplies and equipment.
• Creating purchase orders for new supplies and equipment for Makerspace.
