Job summary

St. Louis Community College is seeking a versatile staff member to design, deliver, and evaluate services for students and faculty, supporting learning programs across the college.

Responsibilities include conducting training sessions for student records, assisting students with study skills, administering tests and reporting scores, maintaining supplies, and coordinating equipment and the Center for Visual Technology & Maker Space activities such as 3D printing and prepress work.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent.
• Over one year of relevant full-time experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver, evaluate and improve services to students and faculty in support of learning programs.
• May conduct training sessions for student records.
• Work with individual students on study skills.
• Administer tests and report scores to students.
• Keep inventory of supplies and equipment; place orders when necessary.
• Check equipment for repair needs and notify appropriate persons.
• Inform students of college and department policies and procedures; inform students of job openings.
• Help students with problems and make appropriate referrals.
• Supervise student employees in the department.
• May attend meetings, serve on departmental committees, and/or attend workshops and special classes.
• May operate instructional equipment.
• Center for Visual Technology & Maker Space: Photography, printing, framing prepress work (such as booklet making), 3D printing, 3D scanning, and general problem-solving.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
