Job summary

NORY, Inc. invites makers and educators to design learning journeys that empower 3–12 year olds through hands-on engineering, design thinking, and mechatronics. This role focuses on crafting engaging projects, storytelling, and multi-campus teacher coaching to scale impact across NYC and Boston.

You will nurture curiosity, resilience, and leadership while incorporating coding elements for more advanced robotics experiences. A portfolio demonstrating relevant work is essential.

Qualifications

• Portfolio showcasing maker projects in woodworking, 3D printing, laser cutting, circuits and robotics.
• Experience with children aged 3–12 and ability to tailor activities to developmental stages.
• Ability to train and coach teachers to deliver a cohesive maker program across campuses.

Responsibilities

• Design hands-on projects that ignite resilience and curiosity in children.
• Weave interdisciplinary learning into engaging experiences.
• Create immersive storytelling worlds similar to Disney World scale of engagement.
• Coach teachers to implement your vision across NORY campuses and communicate via multiple channels.
• Incorporate coding elements to empower older children on advanced robot projects.
