Job summary

Canada’s Wonderland is seeking creative makeup artists for Fright Fest to bring characters to life through makeup and special effects. You will help with storytelling, show spectacle, and guest screams; audition pictures required.

Position focuses on Saturdays and Sundays from late September to early November, with shifts around 12pm-2pm. Pay starts at $18.00 per hour; interviews at the Human Resources Office. For questions, contact Shows and Entertainment at 413-821-2620.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in makeup application required
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety
• Ability to interact in a professional and positive manner
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently with little supervision
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including walking long distances, standing for long periods of time, lifting, working at heights, etc.
• Able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
• 18 years old or older

Overview

Creative makeup artists bring our Fright Fest characters to life! Your skills in this special position will contribute to storytelling, show spectacle, and of course, the screams from our Guests! Applicants should be prepared to show pictures of previous work at their interview.

Pay Starting at $18.00/Hour

Audition Dates: (All auditions will happen at the Human Resources Office)

• Fright Fest Hiring Event: August 7 from 4-7pm & August 8 from 11-3pm
