About the Make Ready Technician Role:

The Make Ready Technician maintains the cleanliness and curb appeal of the community, including grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, parking lots, and other common areas. Responsibilities include preparing vacant apartments for new residents and completing resident service requests as directed by the Lead Service Technician. The role requires compliance with company and community operating policies, safety procedures, and adherence to federal, state, and local laws, including Fair Housing regulations.

Education and Experience:

• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Ability to stand, sit for long periods, and maneuver around the community and equipment
• Effective communication skills with tenants and staff
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing 15 to 25 pounds
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow)
• Ability to safely operate small hand tools and mechanical equipment
• A positive, team-oriented attitude
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a high-quality living environment
