Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure vacant apartments are turned to market-ready condition by performing repairs, caulking, painting, and overall upkeep according to the community's make-ready checklist.

Qualifications

• Experience performing apartment maintenance and make-ready tasks.
• Ability to follow safety policies and use tools correctly.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs and improvements to apartments prior to resident move-in.
• Caulk and seal around windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers.
• Inspect sheetrock and perform repairs as needed.
• Touch-up painting for vacant and occupied units as directed.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; assist with cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts where possible.
• Complete make-ready checklist and required maintenance documentation.
• Comply with safety policies and participate in safety trainings.
• Provide courteous service to residents and respond to questions and concerns.
