Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure vacant apartment homes are turned quickly to market-ready condition. You will perform repairs, caulking, painting, and general upkeep across community properties.

Responsibilities include completing make-ready checklists, inspecting sheetrock, maintaining common areas, and documenting work while complying with safety policies. Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Experience performing repairs and make-ready tasks on apartment homes.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs and make-ready tasks for vacant units prior to move-in.
• Ensure caulking and sealing around windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers are done properly.
• Inspect sheetrock for damage and perform necessary repairs.
• Perform touch-up painting as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, and assist with general cleaning and painting as needed.
• Complete make-ready checklist and maintain maintenance documentation.
• Follow safety policies and participate in safety meetings.
