Job summary

Winfield Property Management in Tulsa, Oklahoma is seeking a Make-Ready Technician to prepare vacant apartment units for new residents. You will clean, repair, and maintain units to meet high standards of quality and appeal, ensuring readiness for occupancy.

You will perform painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC tasks, and general maintenance, with on-call duties for emergencies. Excellent time management, communication with residents and vendors, and adherence to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Pool certification, EPA certification, HVAC certification preferred.
• Fair Housing Training preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

As a Make-Ready Technician at Bandon Trails, you will play a crucial role in preparing vacant apartment units for new residents. You will be responsible for ensuring that units are cleaned, repaired, and maintained to meet high standards of quality and appeal. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will contribute to creating a positive living experience for our residents.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Performs general painting, sheetrock and carpentry repair needs.
• Check, repair or replace plumbing, electric, appliances, HVAC, window coverings for repair or replacement needs.
• Conducts preventative maintenance.
• Performs general cleaning and trash out tasks at the property.
• Assists in property’s grounds repairs and maintenance.
• Performs general repairs onsite to protect property and residents.
Works to refurbish residences prior to occupancy.
• On call for emergencies.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to provide and use hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to follow instructions.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Pool certification, EPA certification, HVAC certification, Fair Housing Training preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, and crawl into awkward spaces.
• Must be able to lift 50-100 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
