Billingsley Collection is seeking a Make Ready Technician to prepare residential units for new tenants. You will combine maintenance and housekeeping to ensure every apartment is clean, safe, and move-in ready.
Responsibilities include detailed cleaning, minor repairs, ensuring appliances work, and coordinating with the maintenance team. You will also document tasks and uphold safety and cleanliness standards throughout the process.

Perform detailed cleaning and inspection of units prior tomove-in, ensuring each apartment meets company standards for cleanliness and readiness.
Handle minor repairs and maintenance tasks within units toprepare fornew tenants, including painting, minor plumbing, and fixture replacements.
Ensure all appliances and fixtures are in excellent workingconditionand the unit is staged appropriately.
Maintain the cleanliness of exterior walkways, patios, and balconies associated with the units being readied.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to address any significant repair needs or upgrades.
Conduct final walk-throughs of units to guarantee that all aspects of themake readychecklist are completed to the highest standard.
Promptly respond to and rectify any issues discovered during the move-in inspection process.
Maintainaccuraterecords of work performed in each unit and report on readiness status to management.
Upholdhigh standardsof safety and cleanliness while working, ensuring all tools and supplies are stored properly after use.
Assistinmaintaininginventory of necessary supplies such as cleaning materials, tools, and replacement parts, notifying management when replenishment is needed.
Provide excellent customer service by responding courteously to all tenant interactions during themake readyprocess.
Other duties as assigned to support the maintenance team and propertyobjectives.
Previousexperience in maintenance, housekeeping, or a similar make ready role preferred.
High School Diploma orequivalency.
Knowledge of basic repair tasks, cleaning procedures, and proper handling and storage of maintenance and cleaning supplies.
Detail-oriented with a keen eye for cleanliness, order, and aesthetic appeal.
Strong customer service orientation and effective communication skills to interact positively with residents and team members.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility toworkvarying schedules, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Willingness to adhere to a professional dress code and wear company-provided uniforms during work hours.
Prolongedperiodsstanding and walking.
Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
