Job summary

AMLI Residential's luxury Miami property is seeking an Apartment Make Ready Technician. You will inspect vacated apartments, perform make-ready tasks across drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, and ensure units are move-in ready.

Qualifications

• Experience in Maintenance and Repair (Painting, Drywall, Basic Electrical, and Plumbing)
• On-call availability for evening and weekend rotations
• Valid driver’s license for on-call work
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete checklists to ensure they are “make-ready.”
• Replace or repair windows, latches, screens, hinges, sliding glass doors, shelves, baseboards, mirrors, closets, curtains, mini-blinds, ceiling fans, lights, and more
• Test faucets, sink plugs, and repair or replace them as necessary. Perform exterior repairs for sinks, bathtubs, and more when needed
• Assist with painting and drywall repairs
• Make new keys when requested. Replace the vacancy lock on the day the lock is changed for a new resident move-in
• Collaborate with the entire maintenance team for cleaning and grounds-keeping duties

As a Make Ready Technician , your expertise will be key in ensuring all vacated apartments are restored to “make-ready” status. You will diagnose and make repairs across a variety of areas, including drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, pool maintenance, carpentry, and appliance repairs. If you’re someone who loves hands‑on work and enjoys problem-solving, this role is for you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete checklists to ensure they are “make-ready.”
• Replace or repair windows, latches, screens, hinges, sliding glass doors, shelves, baseboards, mirrors, closets, curtains, mini‑blinds, ceiling fans, lights, and more!

Lo que harás:

• Inspeccionar apartamentos desocupados y completar las listas de verificación para asegurarte de que estén listos para la mudanza.
• Reemplazar o reparar ventanas, pestillos, mosquiteros, bisagras, puertas correderas de vidrio, estanterías, rodapiés, espejos, armarios, cortinas, minipersianas, ventiladores de techo, luces, ¡y más!
• Verificar grifos, tapones de lavabos y repararlos o reemplazarlos según sea necesario. Realizar reparaciones exteriores de fregaderos, bañeras, etc., cuando sea necesario.
• Ayudar con pintura y reparaciones de paneles de yeso.
• Hacer llaves nuevas cuando se soliciten. Reemplazar la cerradura de vacante (si aplica) el día que se cambie la cerradura para el ingreso de un nuevo residente.
• Colaborar con el equipo de mantenimiento en tareas de limpieza y cuidado de los exteriores.
