Job summary

The NRP Group is hiring a Make Ready Technician for the Woodmont community in Fort Worth, TX. Under supervision, you will perform groundskeeping, housekeeping and basic maintenance to preserve curb appeal and apartment quality.

You will handle service requests, assist with apartment refurbishments, and maintain records. A high school diploma or GED, strong English skills, and reliable transportation are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred with strong English verbal and written skills.
• Prior custodial, housekeeping or apartment experience preferred.
• Computer proficiency preferred for maintenance tracking and communications.
• Reliable transportation required for essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections and janitorial services as assigned.
• Walk the property daily to ensure curb appeal and quality of apartments.
• Complete service requests in accordance with company standards.
• Assist with refurbishment and maintenance of apartments per company standards.

Under the direction of the Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor, the Make Ready Tech is responsible for performing grounds and housekeeping services to ensure excellent curb appeal and quality of apartment homes, as well as responding to related service requests.

Essential Functions Statement(s):

Maintenance Services

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections and janitorial services as assigned
• Assist with maintenance of storage area and maintenance materials
• Perform refurbishing and renovation of apartments per company standards
• Walk the property daily to ensure curb appeal and quality of apartments
• Notify Community Manager of any safety concerns and participate in safety meetings
• Responsible for knowledge of property specific problems such as asbestos
• Maintain accurate record of all tasks completed
• Perform other duties as required

Customer Service

• Carry out all maintenance aspects of the community in the Maintenance Supervisor’s absence; including scheduling staff and vendors, ordering new supplies and working with Community Manager on other necessary improvements
• Complete all service requests in accordance with company standards

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education : High school diploma or GED highly preferred; strong English verbal and written communication skills

Experience : Prior custodial, housekeeping or apartment experience preferred

Technical Skills : Computer proficiency preferred

Other Requirements: Reliable transportation for essential job functions
