Job summary

Management Support is seeking a Make Ready Technician for Villas at Parkside in Farmers Branch, TX. Full-time, 40 hours, rotating weekends. Compensation is $22–$24 per hour, with training available and room for advancement within the company.

The role requires basic electrical, plumbing, appliance maintenance, and HVAC certification is preferred. A valid driver\'s license, ability to lift 30 lbs, and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification preferred, not required.
• Basic electrical, plumbing, appliance maintenance and repair.
• Lift and carry 30 lbs up three flights of stairs if there is no elevator.
• Current driver\'s license with non-rated auto insurance to be verified.
• Bilingual (any language) a plus.
• Understand and follow written policies.
• Work under direction of your Maintenance Foreman and Apartment Manager.
• Promptly and expertly attend to preventive and routine maintenance.
• Maintain property owned equipment and tools and ensure they are properly secured after each use.
• Ensure all work areas are secured per policy when they are not occupied.
• Complete service requests assigned for vacant units (make ready).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and preventive tasks on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances.
• Complete make-ready work on vacant units to prepare for new residents.
• Maintain and secure tools and equipment; follow safety policies.
• Assist Maintenance Foreman and Apartment Manager with daily tasks and requests.

We have a Make Ready Technician position at our Management Support property with 368 apartment units.

We are looking for applicants who are confident that their maintenance skills will yield high productivity and advancement within our company. We can train applicants with prior experience in the trades, as well as applicants that have prior maintenance experience at other multifamily management companies. Compensation is based on experience and our anticipation of your performance.

Hourly pay rate is $22 - $24. The full-time work schedule is 40 hours, with rotating weekend coverage. Payroll is every 2 weeks with direct deposit (no charge to employee) to your checking account.
