Job summary

Fogelman Properties seeks a Make Ready Technician at Sandstone Creek Apartments in Overland Park, KS. The role requires skilled maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair to prep vacant units for new residents.

Applicants with 3+ years of experience and a valid driver's license are preferred; HVAC certs are a plus. Competitive biweekly pay, benefits and growth opportunities accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Two years of maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC certification (Type 1 & 2 or Universal) preferred.
• Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair.

Responsibilities

• Clear out and dispose of items left behind after move out.
• Complete make‑ready tasks and painting as per the move out checklist.
• Perform new move in service requests per checklist.
• Assist with inventory of supplies and provide lists to supervisor.
• Support preventive maintenance projects and other service requests.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the Service Director.
• May participate in on‑call rotation and emergency responses.
• Maintain positive communications with residents, vendors and coworkers.
• Weekend work may be required.
• Adhere to safety and Fair Housing policies.
