Job summary

Peak Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Utah to bring units to market-ready condition under the Service Manager. You will handle make-ready tasks, complete work orders, and assist with building and common area maintenance.

Some weekends and after-hours work may be required based on community needs. We offer 3 weeks PTO, 10 holidays plus 3 floating holidays, medical/dental/vision plans, 401k matching, referral bonuses, and support programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of general maintenance experience in property management.
• EPA and CPO certification preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.

Overview

Under the direction of the Service Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for bringing units up to market ready condition in accordance with Peak Living standards. Typical range of hours is based on the community needs and may require weekends and after hour emergency services.

Responsibilities

• Complete make ready maintenance.
• Complete assigned work orders and ensure compliance to Peak Living standards.
• Assist with building and common area maintenance.
• Assist with preventative maintenance program and maintain property equipment.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in general maintenance in property management environment.
• EPA and CPO certification preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of general maintenance (i.e., electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, etc.)
• Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
