Job summary

Peak Living in Southfield, MI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to bring units up to market-ready condition and support maintenance across our communities. Under the direction of the Service Manager, you will handle make-ready tasks, process work orders, assist with building and common area upkeep, and support preventative maintenance of equipment.

A high school diploma and at least 1 year of related experience are required; EPA/CPO certification is a plus, and English communication is

• Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience in property management.
• EPA and CPO certification preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Must communicate effectively in English.

Overview

Under the direction of the Service Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for bringing units up to market ready condition in accordance with Peak Living standards.

Typical range of hours is based on the community needs and may require weekends and after hour emergency services.

Responsibilities

• Complete make ready maintenance.
• Complete assigned work orders and ensure compliance to Peak Living standards.
• Assist with building and common area maintenance.
• Assist with preventative maintenance program and maintain property equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in general maintenance in property management environment.
• EPA and CPO certification preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of general maintenance (i.e., electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, etc.)
• Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have the ability to communicate in English.
