Job summary

West Shore is seeking a Make Ready Technician to prep vacant apartments to market-ready condition and handle service tickets through repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and more. You’ll work as part of a hands-on team keeping grounds tidy and supporting preventative maintenance.

You’ll be trained, valued, and provided the tools needed to excel, with opportunities for growth and a culture that celebrates practical problem-solving and reliable workmanship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.).
• Proficiency in at least one major trade area.
• EPA certification preferred.
• CPO certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all conditions.
• Excellent communication and professionalism with residents and team members.
• Able to work flexible schedules, including weekends and on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prep vacant apartments to market-ready condition.
• Handle work orders with skill, urgency, and a smile.
• Perform general maintenance including light plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, and appliance repair.
• Keep grounds and common areas clean and inviting.
• Support preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Pitch in with special projects, pool upkeep, and seasonal tasks.
• Stay alert and on-call for emergency maintenance needs.
• Work safely, efficiently, and with pride because your work matters.
