Job summary

Foundation Communities is seeking a Maintenance Assistant for Vintage Creek in Austin, TX. This full-time role focuses on restoring vacated apartments to market-ready status and supporting the Lead Maintenance in their absence.

Responsibilities include inventory management, supporting maintenance staff, inspections, and assisting across Foundation Communities properties as needed. On-call work is required; excellent resident service is essential.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of practical experience with demonstration of required skills
• Make-ready experience helpful with good understanding of pools, plumbing, electrical, etc.
• Required to be on call

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor parts, supplies and equipment inventory
• Provide support to all other maintenance staff
• Participate in quarterly property inspections
• Remove trash from outside each shift
• Assist Lead Maintenance, as needed
• Provide excellent customer service to all residents
• May be required to work at other Foundation Communities properties in the Austin area as needed
• All other duties as assigned
