Job summary

Burlington Capital Properties is seeking a COM (Change of Occupancy) Technician to join Rising View, a military housing community near Offutt Air Force Base in Bellevue, NE. The role focuses on make-ready maintenance to prepare homes for military families and requires strong customer service as you coordinate with the maintenance team.

Responsibilities include completing repairs, inspecting homes, and ensuring move-in readiness while adhering to safety policies and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in maintenance, construction, apartment maintenance, or residential repair preferred.
• Strong knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and appliance repair.

Responsibilities

• Complete change-of-occupancy (make-ready) maintenance on vacant homes.
• Perform repairs including painting, drywall, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, flooring, appliance repair, and general maintenance.
• Inspect homes to identify maintenance needs prior to resident move-in.
• Ensure homes meet company quality standards and are move-in ready.
• Respond professionally to maintenance requests and assist with service work as needed.
• Safely operate company vehicles throughout the community.
• Follow all safety policies and company procedures.
• Assist with additional maintenance projects as assigned.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, vendors, and team members.
