You will collaborate with maintenance and leasing teams, handling cleaning, minor repairs, and inspections to uphold curb appeal and safety standards on-site in Texas.

Qualifications

• Prior make-ready/porter experience in property management or maintenance preferred.
• Ability to perform painting, cleaning, and minor repairs.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must pass a criminal background/drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Apartment Turnover: Perform make-ready tasks to prepare vacant units for new residents, including cleaning, painting, minor repairs, and appliance checks.
• Property Maintenance: Assist with general upkeep, including picking up trash, landscaping, and maintaining curb appeal.
• Cleaning & Maintenance Support: Clean and maintain common areas such as hallways, lobbies, and laundry rooms.
• Inspection Support: Assist with property inspections and ensure areas meet safety standards.
• Work Orders: Address minor maintenance work orders and report major repairs to the maintenance team.
• Resident Interaction: Maintain a positive and friendly attitude toward residents and guests while completing tasks.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the maintenance and leasing teams to ensure smooth operation of the property.

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Make Ready/Maintenance Tech to join our team with Ambo Properties. This role is critical in preparing apartment homes for new residents, ensuring the property is clean, safe, and inviting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apartment Turnover:Perform "make ready" tasks to prepare vacant units for new residents, including cleaning, painting, minor repairs, and appliance checks.
• Property Maintenance:Assist with general property upkeep, including picking up trash, landscaping, and maintaining curb appeal.
• Cleaning & Maintenance Support:Clean and maintain common areas, such as hallways, lobbies, and laundry rooms.
• Inspection Support:Assist with property inspections and ensure all areas are in compliance with safety standards.
• Work Orders:Address minor maintenance work orders when necessary and report any major repairs to the maintenance team.
• Resident Interaction:Maintain a positive and friendly attitude toward residents and guests while completing tasks efficiently and with care.
• Team Collaboration:Work closely with the maintenance and leasing teams to ensure the smooth operation of the property.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a Make Ready/Porter or similar role in property management or maintenance preferred
• Basic knowledge of property maintenance tasks (painting, cleaning, minor repairs).
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Drivers' License (Required)
• Must be physically capable of performing manual labor tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background/Drug screening (Required)
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform outdoor tasks as needed.
