Job summary

Ambo Properties is seeking a Lead Maintenance to oversee installation, maintenance, and repair across residential buildings, delivering reliable, safe services and strong resident communication.

The ideal candidate holds EPA and HVAC certifications, 1–3 years in property maintenance, and proficiency with hand and power tools; weekend/evening hours and a clean driving record may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Valid EPA Certification (required).
• Valid HVAC Certification (required).
• 1-3 years of experience in property maintenance or related field (preferred).
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, or additional hours as needed to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair HVAC systems in residential units.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and address their concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate service records.
• Additional General Maintenance Repairs (as needed)- Carpentry, painting, trash outs etc.
