Job summary

Texas Inter-Faith Management/40i is seeking a full-time Make-Ready Tech/Grounds keeper for one of our properties in Friendswood, TX. We value proactive, reliable candidates with background in landscaping, painting, apartment turnover maintenance and HVAC/EPA knowledge.

You will perform repairs, coordinate preventive maintenance, prepare vacant units, maintain grounds, safety standards and respond to service requests within 24 hours.

Qualifications

• Experience as an apartment maintenance technician or similar role.
• Experience in plumbing, electrical repair, painting, appliance repair and drywall.
• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
• Must have a valid driver's license, insurance, and car registration if driving for business.
• Ability to be on-call and on-site on short notice.
• HVAC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make repairs and daily maintenance of buildings and equipment.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and plan daily work orders.
• Prepare vacant units for new tenants.
• Perform plumbing and electrical repairs, painting, and carpentry.
• Maintain grounds and ensure safety compliance.
• Respond to service requests within 24 hours and complete work promptly.
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies.
• Ensure cleanliness and functionality of buildings and amenities.
