Job summary

Costello Companies is seeking a Maintenance & Grounds Technician to assist the Site Manager in running our apartment and townhome communities. You will maintain interiors and exteriors, ensuring appliances, heating and cooling, and lighting function correctly to keep residents comfortable.

Responsibilities include performing maintenance work (electrical, plumbing, drywall, repairs), preparing units for rent, clearing light snow, and maintaining grounds.

Qualifications

Position Summary

The Maintenance & Grounds Technician is responsible for assisting the Site Manager in performing all duties and functions required for the efficient operation of their apartment and townhome communities. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior of apartment and townhome communities. Additionally, the Maintenance Technician must ensure the proper operation of all appliances, heating and cooling units, and light fixtures.

Requirements

• Must be punctual and reliable.
• Must have hand tools to use on the job site.
• Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Ability to work 20 hours per week between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.
• Must be willing to handle after-hours emergencies (in a rotation).
• Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance.
