  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of directly related sales experience in the elevator industry; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • High ethical standards and strong sales and mechanical aptitude required
  • Knowledge of TKE product offerings is a plus
  • Outstanding sales and customer service abilities
  • Ability to develop and promote teamwork
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Effective presentation skills for top management, public groups, and clients
  • Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, and the business community
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships and internal networks

Job Role:

TK Elevator is seeking an experienced Major Project - New Installation Sales professional for a remote role. The focus is on increasing hit rate and profitability of major project sales.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Support sales growth by building strong customer relationships with decision makers in the US market
  • Assist branches and sales reps in preparing opportunities, including estimates, sourcing, strategies, negotiations, and contracts
  • Drive pre-selling activities: conduct Lunch & Learns, meet with general contractors, develop relationships with architects and consultants, and participate in factory tours
  • Network with customers, developers, consultants, architects, and building managers
  • Leverage customer relationships to support regional and branch sales efforts
  • Maintain expert knowledge of products through training and studying manuals
  • Create and deliver traffic analysis simulations and customer presentations
  • Identify and resolve design, engineering, and traffic flow issues beneficial to customers and TK Elevator
  • Use design experience to create technical drawings from concepts and diagrams
  • Review designs for compliance with specifications and standards
  • Collaborate with Engineering on custom application designs
  • Review bids for accuracy and compliance
  • Meet sales goals with the team
  • Respond to questions regarding design and bids
  • Mentor Sales Representatives and Engineers
  • Maintain knowledge of local code requirements across the US
  • Visit sites to ensure customer needs and contractual obligations are met
  • Deliver presentations and training sessions
  • Identify and implement solutions to increase market share of TKE equipment
  • Travel 50% or more as needed
