The Major Market Sales Executive, Field, identifies potential clients through prospecting activities, consults with potential clients to identify suitable Paycor products and services that address their business challenges, and sells those solutions within assigned territories. This role involves self-generating leads via prospecting, telemarketing, CRM management, and networking. The Executive is an expert in our sales process and product offerings, responsible for forecasting monthly sales and achieving set quotas. They are self-starters committed to meeting sales targets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify potential clients in higher employee bands and complex midmarket segments through prospecting, referrals, and leveraging tools and technology.
- Consult with clients to determine optimal solutions for their business needs.
- Present Paycor products and services to potential clients in person and via phone.
- Maintain strong relationships with referral sources.
- Own and accurately forecast monthly and quarterly sales.
- Analyze client practices to identify additional sales opportunities.
- Meet or exceed sales activity and target goals.
- Assist in onboarding new clients, including paperwork and initial payroll processing.
- Collaborate with Client Services to ensure client satisfaction.
- Record all sales activities and results in SFDC promptly.
- Support effective client implementation and transition with the Implementation team.
- Complete regular reports and CRM updates.
- Assist less experienced Sales Executives in their development as needed.
- Demonstrate strong work ethic and maintain regular attendance.
- Uphold ethical business practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, an individual must satisfactorily perform each essential duty. The requirements include:
- 3-6 years’ experience in consultative B2B sales with a proven success record.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment without direct supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
