Job summary

Albuquerque Academy seeks a Philanthropy Officer to manage major gift fundraising under the Director of Advancement. You will develop donor strategies, cultivate relationships with prospects, and coordinate communications and events as part of a collaborative advancement team.

The role requires strong writing, research, and project management skills, plus a Bachelor’s degree and at least two years in fundraising or related fields. The position is based on campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.

• Proven donor management from initial contact to formal gift.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and develop the overall advancement fundraising effort.
• Research and grow major gifts prospects and donors.
• Develop strategies for soliciting major gifts.
• Organize regular communication with major gift donors.
• Plan and support advancement events.
• Maintain professionalism and inclusivity.
