Job summary

A leading educational institute in Philadelphia is seeking a Major Gifts Officer to manage and cultivate relationships with major donors. You will develop fundraising strategies to secure significant contributions and work closely with the External Affairs team. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of development experience and a proven track record in major giving, along with excellent communication skills. Qualifications

• 4–6 years of development experience with at least 2 years in major giving.
• History of overseeing a portfolio of prospects and achieving fundraising goals.
• Capital Campaign experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage an active portfolio of 125 major donor prospects.
• Establish and manage effective relationships with significant prospects.
• Develop fundraising strategies to secure major philanthropic commitments.
