St. Richard's Episcopal School in Indianapolis is seeking a Philanthropy Officer to lead and expand major-gift fundraising. This role reports to the Director of Development and manages a portfolio of major-gift donors with emphasis on meetings and community engagement.

The officer oversees all stages of giving, from identification to stewardship, to meet annual goals. Collaborating with the Advancement Team, you will support donor outreach, CRM tracking in Veracross, and stewardship across

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 3-5+ years of fundraising experience, with at least 2 years in a donor-facing major-gifts role.
Proven track record of closing 5-figure or larger gifts.
Relationship-based approach with high-net-worth individuals.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented with portfolio management capabilities.

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of major-gift donors and prospects with annual goals.
Meet donors and prospects in person, dedicating ~75% of time to caseload management.
Oversee the full lifecycle of giving: identification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship.
Renew, increase, and source new funding for annual, endowment, and capital campaigns.
Coordinate outreach across donor programs and avoid overlap in communications.
Track donor activity in Veracross and support Moves Management and acknowledgements.
