Job summary

The Minnesota JCC is seeking a Major Gifts Officer to grow and steward a portfolio of high-capacity donors, focusing on gifts of $10,000 and above. You will collaborate with senior leaders to expand annual fundraising and establish named endowment funds, ensuring long-term financial sustainability for the JCC.

Responsibilities include face-to-face solicitations, strategic engagement, and creating tailored donor proposals to maximize philanthropic impact across multi-campus operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive fundraising experience.
• Significant frontline fundraising experience with individual donor portfolios.
• Experience with endowment, planned giving, legacy fundraising preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of high-capacity donors and prospects, advancing relationships through the fundraising pipeline and achieving annual targets for gift revenue.
• Develop and execute solicitation strategies to secure major gifts for campaigns, capital and special initiatives.
• Educate donors on immediate-use vs endowed or restricted giving through the Foundation.
