Job summary

The University of Chicago Booth School of Business seeks an Associate Director of Major Gifts to design and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies that fuel Booth’s priorities. You will identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of current and potential donors with $100,000+ capacity, traveling about 20% to engage prospects.

Qualifications

• College/university degree in related field required.
• 5–7 years of experience in fundraising or development.

Responsibilities

• Manages a portfolio of approximately 110 prospects.
• Develops strong relationships to build support for the school.
• Meets or exceeds activity goals for prospect qualifications, solicitations, and funds raised.
• Annually solicits six- and seven-figure gifts.
• Annually closes multiple gifts in excess of $100,000.
• Plans and administers stewardship and donor engagement events with the advancement team.
