Job summary

Foundation for Louisiana is seeking a Donor Relations Officer to cultivate and steward a growing portfolio of individual donors. Reporting to the Vice President of Development, you will develop and implement an integrated donor program aligned with FFL’s mission and goals.

You will solicit donors through calls, meetings, proposals, and events; build relationships, renew giving, and help reach FFL’s ambitious goals with strategic campaigns and collaborative stewardship practices.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of successful fundraising experience in individual and major gifts.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication for donor audiences.
• Ability to manage and grow a donor program with strong acknowledgment and recognition.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement an integrated individual donor program; grow and manage a donor portfolio.
• Identify new prospects to cultivate, solicit, and steward with senior leadership support.
• Cultivate existing donors to renew and increase giving.
