Job summary

Kennesaw State University seeks a Director of Development for the Wellstar College of Health & Human Service. Responsible for major gift fundraising and support programs through the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major gift prospects for assigned colleges, centers, programs, institutes or special initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution of higher education in related field.
• Current, valid, and unrestricted driver's license.
• Three (3) years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains continuous contact with key volunteers, prospects, donors and lapsed donors.
• Identifies, qualifies, cultivates, solicits and steward major gift prospects.
• Focuses on gifts at the $100,000 level and above, including $1 million or more.
• Coordinates solicitation and communicates with colleagues across the University.
• Researches industry standards, trends and best practices.
• Designs solicitation strategies and aligns with strategic goals.
