Job summary

Bucknell University seeks Development Officers to advance major gifts and steward donor relationships across the region. These full-time roles offer extensive travel (about 50%) and opportunities to engage alumni, parents and friends while working within a collaborative University Advancement team.

Ideal candidates are fundraising professionals with a track record of closing gifts and building strategic donor strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and four years of successful fundraising or related experience.
• Demonstrates ability to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors.
• Valid U.S. driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Manage donor portfolios with identification, cultivation and solicitation.
• Engage in strategic face-to-face meetings with major gift prospects.
• Travel frequently to build relationships with alumni, parents and friends.
• Collaborate across University Advancement and campus partners.
