Join us as a Major Gifts Development Officer at United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania

Location: Pittsburgh Office

United Way of Southwestern PA (United Way) is dedicated to addressing pressing community issues by uniting policymakers, corporate leaders, agency partners, and individuals committed to helping neighbors in need. Our collaborative approach aims to develop sustainable solutions and create lasting impacts across Pennsylvania.

The Major Gifts Officer (MGO) will manage a portfolio of high-level current and prospective donors. Responsibilities include identifying, qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding these donors. The MGO will engage with key stakeholders, spend significant time in the field building relationships, and assess donor capacity. The goal is to increase major donor contributions and motivate existing supporters to increase their giving.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of experience managing high-level donor relationships
• Proven success in closing gifts of $1,000 or more

Salary: $55,520 - $62,000 annually (Pay Grade 107)
