Job summary

The Major Gifts Associate role at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business sits in the Development department within External Relations. You will support major gift officers, research donors, prepare meetings, and manage records to help cultivate critical donor relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and one year of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule calendar(s) for assigned gift officers, resolve conflicts, and arrange travel per policies.
• Coordinate meetings and events, oversee logistics and materials within budget.
• Assist in design, publication and production of fundraising materials.
• Build networks, stay informed on university initiatives and activities.
• Review and track funds, report on use of gifts, and update donor records.
• Retrieve prospect information, update records, and generate simple reports.
• Track budgets and process reimbursements for the department.
