The Wilma Theater seeks a Development Associate to support major gifts fundraising and board activities in Philadelphia. The role focuses on research, data entry, scheduling, event planning and donor cultivation with high attention to detail and warm, professional communication.
The position combines major gifts work (60%) with executive support (40%), including calendar management, board coordination, budgeting and communications, offering exposure to a vibrant arts nonprofit.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive and able to communicate warmly and efficiently both in person and in writing. Comfortable with phone and email and with work days that are characterized by many different activities performed at a fast yet accurate pace is essential. We are looking for a generalist who has worked with Microsoft Office software in office settings and is potentially interested in a career in development.

Administrative office hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, unless otherwise established by your supervisor or the Managing Director to meet the theater's needs.
From time to time, you may be required to work outside of normal business hours.
This is a full-time, exempt role with compensation of $50,000.
