Job Description and Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as scrubbing machines, vacuums, and hand tools.
• Sweep, scrub, strip, seal, wax, and shampoo floors and furniture.
• Replace bulbs, fluorescent tubes, shades, covers, blinds, window screens, and wall hangings.
• Remove waste and debris from buildings.
• Move furniture, equipment, and supplies, and unload materials.
• Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and fixtures.
• Assist in setup and cleanup for campus events.
• Maintain cleanliness of walkways and driveways, including snow removal.
• Operate vehicles to transport materials and personnel.
• Maintain tools and work areas.
• Shovel snow, spread cinders, sand, and anti-skid materials.

Job Requirements

Basic math skills, ability to follow instructions, up to 3 months of effective experience, and a valid PA driver’s license. The position may involve various shifts including early mornings, evenings, or nights.

Additional Information

The role involves operating a motor vehicle, requiring a valid driver’s license and background checks. The position is part of the Teamsters Local Union No. 8 bargaining unit.
