The City of College Park Public Works Department is seeking a full-time Maintenance Worker for the Solid Waste Division. This essential role requires the ability to work long shifts under adverse or emergency conditions, performing heavy manual labor and operating equipment for waste collection, recycling, and street/ neighborhood cleanliness.
Responsibilities include lifting and dumping refuse and recyclables, repositioning carts, snow and leaf removal, and other outdoor manual tasks in all weather conditions. The candidate must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, and stand for extended periods.
