Job summary

A city government organization is seeking a Seasonal Lake Maintenance Worker to assist with maintenance tasks in parks and lake areas. Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties in parks.

• Wash and clean public restrooms.
• Remove ashes and residues from grills.
• Operate power equipment and hand tools.
• Submit service interval information to supervisor.

About this Position

The seasonal Lake Maintenance Worker assists with construction, grounds maintenance, sanitation, and lake maintenance for the lake area, parks, access roads, trails, and campgrounds. Employment lasts 6 months and may be terminated earlier if services are no longer required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Or be a current high school student
• At least 16 years of age
• Valid Oklahoma Driver's License and a driving record acceptable to the City\u2019s insurance carrier

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties in all areas of parks
• Remove full trash can bags, place in dumpster, and replace with a new liner
• Collect ground litter and place in trash receptacles
• Wash and clean public rest rooms
• Remove ashes and fire residues from fireplaces, fire rings, and charcoal grills
• Operate power equipment and hand tools
• Submit service interval information to supervisor in a timely and accurate manner
