A temporary position at Gettysburg National Military Park seeking a Maintenance Worker Leader to oversee seasonal work. Responsibilities include leading a crew in landscape preservation tasks, operating equipment, and ensuring the maintenance of park facilities.
This temporary position is located in the Gettysburg National Military Park's Maintenance Division under the Landscape Preservation Branch, which maintains and preserves the cultural landscapes of Gettysburg National Military Park and Eisenhower National Historic Site. The position serves as a working leader over a crew that performs seasonal work such as mowing, trimming, tree care/removal, trail maintenance, roadway maintenance, fence construction and repair, and volunteer projects.
To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors:
SCREEN OUT: Possesses the ability to lead or supervise, performing the full range of duties of a Maintenance Worker Leader, WL-4749-05, and has the knowledge and experience to independently lead a crew in various landscape preservation tasks, including:
