This temporary position is located in the Gettysburg National Military Park's Maintenance Division under the Landscape Preservation Branch which maintains and preserves the cultural landscapes of Gettysburg National Military Park and Eisenhower National Historic Site. The position serves as a working leader over a crew that performs seasonal work such as mowing, trimming, tree care/removal, trail maintenance, roadway maintenance, fence construction and repair, and volunteer projects.

Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors:
SCREEN OUT: Possesses the ability to lead or supervise, performing the full range of duties of a Maintenance Worker Leader, WL-4749-05 AND possesses knowledge and experience to demonstrate the ability to independently lead a crew to completion of a variety of landscape preservation tasks that include: 1.) Operation of landscape equipment, trucks, trailers, and tractors; 2) trail maintenance; 3) fence repair and construction; 4) tree removal; 5) construction projects; and 6) leading a work crew.
