Job summary

Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, and no experience is required; a valid Texas Class C Driver's License is required, and applicants will interact regularly with city staff and residents.

Job description

The purpose of this position is to preserve the appearance and upkeep of City park grounds and facilities. This is accomplished by maintaining park grounds and flower beds, repairing irrigation systems, maintaining buildings and other park facilities, preparing athletic fields for games and controlling weeds and pests on park grounds. Other duties include maintaining equipment, assisting with special projects and interacting with other City employees and citizens. This position does not provide direction to other employees.
