Job summary

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits in Katy, TX is seeking a warehouse facilities technician to oversee equipment operation and general facility maintenance. You will monitor performance and implement programs to improve operational metrics.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical, electrical issues, performing minor maintenance, scheduling major repairs, and keeping the grounds and lighting up to standard. Starting pay is $19.95/hr with scheduled raises to $26.60/hr.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency plus 1 year of experience.

• Perform minor building maintenance - painting, HVAC, carpentry.
• Ensure proper operation of battery charger racks.
• Schedule major repairs with outside vendors.
• Maintain facility grounds including keeping sidewalks free from snow, ice, or other debris and replacing office and warehouse light bulbs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Overview

will start at $19.95/hr and you will receive pay raises every 6 mos - 1 yr. until you reach full contract rate of $26.60/hr.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency plus 1 years of experience.

Physical Demands

• Physical demands include a considerable amount of time walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping.
• May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 50lbs.
