Job summary

Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits in Texas is seeking a full‑time maintenance technician to oversee warehouse equipment operation and general facility maintenance. You’ll monitor performance, perform preventive maintenance on conveyors and automation, and troubleshoot mechanical, plumbing, and electrical issues.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus 1 year of experience; forklift operation and related tasks are common.

• Schedule major repairs with outside vendors
• Maintain facility grounds including keeping sidewalks free from snow, ice, or other debris and replacing office and warehouse light bulbs
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Southern Glazer’s offers a competitive compensation package with an hourly pay rate of $19.95 / hour plus incentives. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.

Overview

Responsible for overseeing warehouse equipment operation and general facility maintenance. This position monitors performance and implements programs to improve operational metrics.

• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, plumbing, and/or electrical issues
• Perform minor building maintenance
• Ensure proper operation of battery charger racks

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency plus 1 years of experience

Physical Demands

• Physical demands include a considerable amount of time walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
• Must be able to frequently lift, lower, push, carry, or pull up to 48pounds
• Must be able to regularly sit and operate machinery such as a forklift, pallet jacks, and battery change stations
• Work may involve repetitive motions, working at varying heights, and exposure to warehouse environmental conditions
• Extended hours, overtime, weekends, and peak‑season schedules may be required
