Job summary

Delaware North operates Courtyard by Marriott Titusville - Kennedy Space Center in Titusville, Florida. The Maintenance Worker will perform routine maintenance tasks across the property, including drywall work, lighting, plumbing, and grounds upkeep, while supporting guest rooms and event spaces.

Responsibilities

• Paint, hang, and repair drywall as needed and install shelves, hooks, and closet rods.
• Change light bulbs, replace fixtures, open clogged drains, and repair leaks.
• Perform lawn maintenance including mowing and removing weeds.
• Ensure tools and equipment are in working order and keep the maintenance room in neat condition.
• Assist with loading or unloading trucks of maintenance parts and supplies.
• Perform maintenance duties in guest rooms and throughout the hotel.
• Assist with banquet set up and tear down.
• Air conditioning and ice machine cleaning and filter changes.

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is looking for a full-time Maintenance Worker to join our team at Courtyard at Kennedy in Titusville, Florida. As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance duties throughout the property.

Sun-Mon 2:30 pm-11:00 pm

Tuesday & Wednesday off

Thursday-Saturday 8:00 am-4:30 pm

Pay

$18.00 - $20.00 / hour

More about you

• Must be at least 21 years old to apply.
• Minimum of 1 year previous experience in general maintenance/repair preferred.
• Previous hotel maintenance experience preferred.

Physical requirements

• Requires bending, stooping, and the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, squatting, kneeling, pushing and pulling.
• Standing and walking 100% of the time.
• Must be able to work outside in all types of weather.
