Job summary

Caring Heart Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Worker to support the upkeep of our 269-bed facility in Philadelphia, PA. You will perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure a safe, clean environment for residents and staff.

Ideal candidates have 1–2+ years in maintenance, preferably in a long-term care setting. You will collaborate with multiple departments and participate in outdoor maintenance and renovation projects as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years in maintenance, preferably in a long-term care setting.
• Able to perform painting, plumbing, electrical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance (painting, plumbing, electrical) to keep the facility safe and clean.
• Repair and maintain equipment, machines, and fixtures across the building.
• Handle minor construction/renovation projects as needed.
• Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and outdoor maintenance tasks.
• Respond promptly to repair requests from residents and staff.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth facility operations.
